Box Office

For events at The Core Theatre (formerly Solihull Arts Complex) tickets can be sold through the venue’s Box Office.

They also sell for other events in outside venues by arrangement - see OUTSIDE venues.

All tickets for events at the venue must be produced by the venue’s Box Office system, hirers cannot supply their own tickets.

There is a ticketing administration charge of £42 plus VAT per performance.  This includes:

  • Supply of tickets
  • Sales from our box office. Please note customers who purchase tickets by phone will be subject to a £1.50 transaction charge
  • Inclusion of your event on The Core Theatre website
  • An online ticketing facility. Please note customers who purchase tickets online will be subject to a £1.50 transaction charge


Please note credit card commission charges will be passed on to hirer.

Box Office Opening Hours

Our current Opening Hours are 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Saturday (10am start on Wednesdays)

When there is an evening performance in the venue and tickets are on sale through the Box Office the venue will re open 90 min prior to evening or Sunday shows.

 

Refunding tickets for cancelled shows

Where tickets have been sold through our Booking Office on behalf of a hirer, and the show is subsequently cancelled, the hirer shall bear the cost of refunding ticketholders via the Box Office standard refund procedures. This charge is currently £2+ VAT per seat sold. In addition to any credit card charges incurred in the sale/refund. A Box Office Sales Report will be provided at the time of cancellation to verify the sales position at that time.

Hirers who have registered with the Booking Office as an 'Agent' and received Agency tickets are responsible for those refunds back to purchasers at their own cost and arrangements.  This means that if anyone buying from a local society via their ticket Agent, has any queries, problems or the show gets cancelled, the Ticket Agent and not the venue will deal with the query for all tickets they sold.

 Access for customers

The venue is fully accessible both backstage and front of house and every effort is made to ensure we are accessible to all. Please note free Carer seats are offered to those attending in a wheelchair and we welcome advance discussion of performer's or customer's needs relating to access to the venue. The free Carer seat will be offered for all promotions at the venue in line with the venues policy (agreed by Solihull Carer's Service -  a recognised Carer's card is required).

If the hirer sells any of their tickets and the customer has specific access requirements (e.g. requires wheelchair space) the Box Office must be informed to ensure the customer’s needs are catered for when they attend the event.
