Our staff were excited about the new class so we sent one to attend the first session and report back...
" I really enjoyed the level that we worked to, I'd say a low to medium impact and felt really comfortable and not self-conscious which has put me off other classes in the past. Most people were of a similar fitness to me. Tutor Aruna was very gentle, and explained the moves and sequences well. The music and routines were fun and variable which helps with the enjoyment". Rachel - Box Office
"I'm not a big exercise fan being prone to laziness, but everyone was friendly and we started with a stretching warm-up to some dancey-ballet music before moving onto learning short sequences of different dance moves to music.
These were; Salsa, Eygptian belly-dancing, a boxing-theme, an 80s 'hammer time' routine, a 90s, Line Dancing and a 'Saturday Night Fever' routine with strutting and pointing which was fun! Then finally warm-down and stretches. Aruna was lovely and reminded us how the bits of dances were stretching the different muscle groups. I worked hard but it's not high impact and no section ever felt too long before a quick rest to learn the next one. I really liked the various music used and look forward to adding new sections and moves to the dances each week. Went home hot and tired but glad I went .. it's fun!". Diane - Marketing
