Holiday fun with Artist Helen Lane for children aged 4-10 years
Jungle Fever arrives at The Core this summer with a great selection of art and craft workshops aimed at boys and girls aged 4-10.
Whether it is a Troop of Baboons, a Pride of Lions, an Ambush of Tigers a Kettle of Vultures, a Den of Snakes, a Lounge of Lizards or a Sleuth of Bears... join us for arts and crafts sessions with a jungle theme.
Eash session is suitable for both girls and boys and will include various fun, arty crafty activities such as puppet making, printing, face painting, model making, marbling, decorating notebooks and much more.

There are two different sessions per day and workshops cost £7 per session. There is free lunchtime supervision inbetween sessions if children are attending both sessions (bring their own lunch or pre-order a lunchbox/meal from Encore Cafe bar).
Each session is different, with no repetition of activities. Pictures shown in gallery on this page may not reflect actual activities on the day.
A completed medical/dietary sheet will be needed for each child. Request and complete this in advance from box office when buying tickets if you wish, or complete on the day or download it here and bring it with you.
Numbers are limited to 20 per session to ensure children enjoy good quality instruction by Artist Helen Lane. Attendees should wear old clothes as they may be using a variety of paints, printing inks, glitter, glues etc. All items are appropriate for agegroup and plastic aprons will be offered but don't always stop clothing being marked.
FOR OLDER CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE
There is also special design and decorate a limited edition Design a mini-bear course, specifically aimed at older children and young people aged 11+ on Weds 9th August. Working with an artist young people will conceive their own design in the morning, then work on their special mini-bear (part of the Big Sleuth trail bears) during the afternoon. A chance to expand design skills using professional tuition and learn with a professional artist. The cost is £30 for the full day 10am-4pm to include the limited edition bear to take home.
