Indulge in a digital detox, switch off from the outside world and lose yourself in an hour of uninterrupted reading at The Core. No, it’s not a reading club, it’s a chance to unwind and read any book you like, in a cosy, informal environment without distractions.

So step away from that phone, grab a cake and coffee (or perhaps a cheeky glass of wine) from Encore Cafe Bar, and treat yourself to an hour of silent reading.

The Cafe begins with an hour of silent reading between 6pm and 7pm, with a chance to chat (if you want) between 7pm and 7.45pm. There's no obligation to talk about your book, although we'd love to hear about what you're reading!

So bring a book or e-reader (sorry, no smart devices allowed), purchase some goodies from the Cafe bar, sit back, relax, and enjoy a slice of blissful silence.
