CREATIVE WORKSHOPS AT THE CORE
Summer Sing (7-13 yrs)
Warm up your vocal chords and get ready to sing! Choir director Anya Small (Pop Voices) will teach young people aged 7-13 how to sing songs from some of their favourite musical films. (£15pp)
Tue 23 July 10am – 1pm: Sing The Greatest Showman
Thu 25 July 10am – 1pm: Sing Moana and Encanto
Play in a Day
This is a chance for young people interested in theatre to work with a professional actor and theatre maker to create and perform an original play in one fun-filled day. (£30pp)

Bhangra Tots Storytime (2-6 yrs)
Listen to fun stories, meet puppet friends, and get up and dance in a fun Bhangra story adventure with Sohan Kailey for ages 2-6 years. (£5 per child, accompanying adult goes free)
Thursday 8 August 9.30am – 10.30am
Bhangra Dance Workshop (7-13 yrs)
Young people aged 7-13 can join Sohan Kailey to learn fantastic Bhangra dance routines in a fun and active dance workshop. (£15pp)
Art at the Heart CIC Summer Arts Camp
Art at the Heart CIC present a week of creative fun with their Summer Arts Camp. Summer Arts Camp for Creatives allows children to explore different art forms and how to express themselves through different media, working with specialist artist educators very day. It also includes an exciting day trip. (£360pp for week)

Young Film Makers
In this exciting one-day workshop, learn filmmaking skills with local film maker Nicola Prestage. Gain film production skills including script writing and planning, using film cameras and setting up microphones and lighting. (£30pp)

Circus and Storytelling Workshop (7-13 yrs)
Young people aged 7-13 years can join circus artist and storyteller Gaby for an exciting day of circus skills and stories, making their own piece of circus kit to take home! (£30pp)
Murder Mystery Workshop (11-16yrs)
Calling all budding detectives! Spend the morning solving a tricky murder mystery case, and then the afternoon writing one. Learn how to unleash your creativity, craft intriguing plots, and bring characters to life. (£30pp)
THE CORE OUTDOOR – outdoor theatre shows in Brueton Park
The Gondoliers – Tue 1 August 6.30pm
Illyria Theatre present a sparkling outdoor production of Gilbert and Sullivan's witty operetta. Audiences will be transported to the waters of Venice for a joyful show packed with some of the pair's most-loved songs.
Angelica Sprocket’s Pockets – Sat 10 August 5pm
Folksy Theatre bring Quentin Blake’s charming children’s book to life in Brueton Park! Come along and meet Angelica Sprocket and find out what she has in her many, many pockets. This fun family show is aimed at ages 3 to 8 years.
Julius Caesar – Tue 13 August 6pm
Enjoy Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy, with an Oddsocks twist! Expect the tearing of togas, the swishing of roman swords, some preposterous puppetry and the biggest battle scene five actors have ever created. On your marcus, getus setus, let the games begin!
The Importance of Being Earnest – Thu 22 August 6pm
Rain or Shine present Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy. They invite you into the world of handbags, perambulators, cucumber sandwiches, muffins, butlers, the English upper class, and of course, that theatrical tour de force – Lady Bracknell!

Let your imagination and creativity soar this summer with the exciting Marvellous Makers Summer Reading Challenge. Read six books across the summer holidays, collect stickers and get a voucher for a FREE swim, a medal and certificate.
