We have some fantastic casual opportunities to join our dedicated and friendly team at The Core.

The Core is a thriving multi-purpose venue in the heart of Solihull, comprising of the Library, The Core Theatre, smaller multi-use Studio, Encore Café and Bar and Courtyard Gallery exhibition space.

Supporting our existing team you will provide a high standard of service to our customers.   You will be involved in a range of duties across the venue including the preparing for events, serving and preparation of food, using a till as well as general cleaning and housekeeping duties.  Duties will include some physical activity including lifting, carrying and standing for long periods

Able to work effectively within a team environment, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of excellent customer service and be confident in engaging with a range of people. 

You will need to have a flexible approach to working hours, as depending on the events at the venue, you will be required to work hours which include daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
