Holi 2024 - Festival of Colour

Bring in Spring with Holi, the Festival of Colour!

Bring in Spring with Holi, the Festival of Colour!

Come and join us for a colour and sound-filled extravaganza as we celebrate the festival of Holi and welcome spring, love, and new life through vibrant colour.

Art at the Heart CIC will be creating: crazily colourful community murals (paisley-patterns & camouflaged chameleons), a giant colourful nest for our spectacular resident Hornbill bird (and its chicks), Spin Art, Weave Art, Human Spirographs and Splat Art! Enjoy listening to some Bhangra and Bollywood beats and learn some new dance moves for the Holi party.

Learn about a world cultural festival and experience the pleasure of making artwork with others. Make the festival your own by shaping new ways of celebrating Holi with other spring festivals within the local community. Feel the excitement of seeing the giant mural take shape and share the excitement afterwards with family and friends as it will remain on display for several weeks as part of the Holi exhibition.

So get your colour on – there’s no age limit for fun and be amazed by the power of colour.

Please note:

  • All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • It's likely to get messy! Whilst we won't be throwing paint at each other - you are likely to get paint on your clothes - please dress accordingly. Art at the Heart will not be held liable for any damage to clothing or accessories.
