Friendly class with tutor Marie Kennedy

Due to tutor absence, there will be no 5.30pm Hatha Yoga classes on Monday 5 June and Monday 12 June 2017.

​Usual schedules will resume the week beginning Monday 20 June 2017.

Hatha is a subtle classical yoga which incorporates various asanas (postures) and is deepened with the use of pranayamas (breathing exercises) and meditation. 

The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit “root yuj”, which means "to join". So join in with these yoga classes! The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible. It also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive and hormonal systems. 

Created to bring both harmony and health, to mind and body, Hatha Yoga is a friendly class that focuses on improving physical health & fitness and also to help reduce stress. The class is safe and progressive, whilst catering for the individual needs of beginners to improvers.

If you have a health condition such as arthritis and struggle to get up and down off the floor, the exercises can be adapted to be performed in a seated position.  

There is no need to book in advance - you can just come along on a pay as you go basis for £5 per class.

Current class schedule:  

Monday: 11am - 12pm
                  5.30pm - 6.30pm

Friday 10.15am - 11.15am


 Please note, the class price will be increasing to £5 from 1 April 2017.

Fee: £5

Payable to tutor on the day.

There will be no Yoga class at 5.30pm on Mon 26th March.

No classes on Friday 30th March (Good Friday) or Monday 2nd April (Easter)

No Yoga  or Tai Chi on Friday 6th April but then classes will resume as normal from week commencing 9th April.
