Another premiere for Solihull as Peterbrook Players (who produced the hilarious Spamalot in 2018 and Singin' In The Rain in 2017) celebrate 50 years of Musical Theatre with their Spring production.
Legally blonde is a high energy, roller coaster of a musical, based on the hit film, written by Lawrence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin. Elle Woods is dumped by her boyfriend as she is considered "too Marilyn" for him, as he leaves for Harvard Law School. So she sets out to win him back and prove him wrong by getting enrolled too. Along the way she is laughed at, degraded and told she is not good enough, but with her dog bruiser, her sorority friends from Delta Nu and some new friends like Paulette the Hairdresser by her side, she achieves what she had always been told was impossible and much, much more.
Hilariously funny, sassy and dramatic in equal parts this modern classic musical is suitable for all ages and features a great moral story about standing up for what is right and believing in yourself. You can book tickets NOW but please dont leave it too late as Peterbrook Players have a history of selling out!
